Meet the EMB Team

EMB has been servicing the Pittsburgh community for over six years. From an on-the-go beauty service to putting roots down at our studio, we continue to educate ourselves on the newest techniques to bring the very best to our clients.

  • Owner, Esthetician, Makeup Artist

    Growing up in Pittsburgh, I knew my passion was in the beauty industry. When the time came, I applied and was admitted into The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles, CA. I received my degree in Merchandise Marketing of Cosmetics and Fragrance. At FIDM, I was lucky enough to be taught by highly regarded professionals from major beauty companies. Moving back to Pittsburgh after graduation, I continued my education at South Hills Beauty Academy and received my Estheticians License. I also completed my Covid-19 Barbicide Certification in 2020.

    Over the years, I have worked as an esthetician and makeup artist, both directly and as an independent contractor for well-known brands and companies. Because I knew this industry was my calling at a young age, I am thrilled to bring my services to clients in a professional and convenient way in an ever-changing industry.

    In 2016, when my sons were young, I started my own business going from home to home throughout the South Hills. Once my boys got a bit older, and because of the support from all of you, I opened my own studio in the Fall of 2020. In the Fall of 2021, I expanded my team, by bringing on Emma.

  • Lead Makeup Artist, Esthetician

    With over fifteen years of experience, Emma Scichilone has established her passion and talent for the beauty industry in cities across the country. Born in Pittsburgh, Emma graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School with an already present interest in the creative world. In pursuit of her dream to learn more, she attended DePaul University in Chicago where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Digital Cinema, concentrating on makeup for the screen. After graduating from DePaul, Emma had the desire to learn even more and further pursue her education in makeup artistry.

    Emma moved to Los Angeles and enrolled in the Joe Blasco School of Makeup Design. While there, she learned and worked alongside professional working makeup artists and experts in the film industry, earning her Makeup Mastery Certification. This added training refined the skills and techniques that she uses every day as a professional makeup artist. With experience in television, film, print, special fx, beauty, and bridal, Emma is poised to take on any makeup task presented to her. She believes in the beauty of self-expression and strives to assist each and every client in their pursuit of looking and feeling their best.
